In 2019, Khrabrovo airport served more than 2.3 million passengers

According to the results of 2019, the total passenger flow at Kaliningrad international airport (Khrabrovo) named after Empress Elizabeth of Russia amounted to 2,369,860 people, which is 10.3% higher than the reported data for 2018.

On domestic airlines, the passenger traffic increased by 10.9% compared with 2018, amounting to 2,190,018 people. The number of passengers on international flights increased by 3.5% compared to last year and amounted to 179,842 people.

The increase in the passenger traffic on domestic routes is primarily due to stability of scheduled flights to Moscow and St. Petersburg, an increased number of these flights, route network expansion and the opening of new destinations.

In 2019, the airlines completed 11,107 flights from Khrabrovo airport, which exceeded the figure for 2018 by 7.1%.

Note that in 2019, the total cargo turnover of Khrabrovo airport amounted to a record 8165.867 tons in 2019, an increase of 2.8% compared to previous years.

In 2020, Khrabrovo airport will continue to attract new carriers and expand its geography of flights, as well as to increase the comfort level for all categories of passengers. The estimates of production volumes in regard to passenger traffic at Khrabrovo airport meet industry expectations. Total passenger flow of Kaliningrad airport in 2020 can reach 2.5 million people.


Kaliningrad international airport (Khrabrovo) named after Empress Elizabeth of Russia is located 20 km northeast of the center of Kaliningrad. It has the status of a federal airport. Khrabrovo has scheduled air service with Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Cherepovets, Belgorod, Lipetsk, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Perm, Rostov-on-Don, Kaluga, Krasnodar, Minsk, Tashkent and Warsaw. Its passenger traffic amounted to 2.3 million passengers in 2019.
