The first cargo flight of Atran Airlines was served at Khrabrovo AirportOn Thursday, October 10, 2019, the first cargo flight of Atran Airlines was served on the route Moscow (VKO) - Kaliningrad - Moscow (VKO) at Khrabrovo Airport. The flight was carried out on a Boeing B-737-48E (SF) aircraft. The plane landed at Khrabrovo Airport at 10:54 local time. A cargo containing consumer goods with a total weight of more than 5 tons was loaded on board the aircraft, the aircraft was prepared for departure. The first cargo flight from Kaliningrad Airport was sent on the same day at 11:59 a.m. “We hope that today's flight will be the beginning of long-term cooperation with Atran Airlines, which will improve transport logistics and allow delivering goods from Kaliningrad to many Russian and international destinations on a regular basis,” said A. Korytniy, Director General of Khrabrovo Airport. Atran Airlines plan to operate scheduled cargo flights from Kaliningrad once a week on Thursdays. ***
The cargo complex at Khrabrovo Airport has a postal and cargo terminal at the airport of Kaliningrad (Khrabrovo). The total area of warehouses for handling domestic and international cargo is more than 2500 m2. The cargo terminal is equipped with ground handling equipment: electric forklifts, hoisting mechanisms, electronic and mechanical scales as well as refrigerators and freezers. The production facilities of the terminal allow handling up to 50 tons of cargo per day. ***
