In the first six months of 2019, Khrabrovo airport serviced more than 1 million passengers

According to the results of activities for the first half of 2019, passenger flow of Khrabrovo airport increased by 14.2% compared to the same period last year and amounted to 1,068,230 people.

In the six months of 2019, 993,491 passengers were serviced on domestic routes, which is 14.9% more than in the first half of 2018. Passenger flow on international flights increased by 5.4% compared to last year and amounted to 74 739 people.

The number of sorties for six months of 2019 amounted to 5,185, which was 6.3% more than last year.

In comparison with the first half of 2018, the volume of cargo transportation increased slightly, by 0.8%, amounting to 3,635,760 tons.

The largest passenger traffic in January - June was provided by Aeroflot, Pobeda, Rossiya, Ural and UTair airlines.

Traditionally, the largest number of passengers was transported to Moscow and St. Petersburg. Passenger traffic to Moscow increased by 17.4% compared with the previous year, amounting to 713,653 people; to St. Petersburg – increased by 30.1%, up to 276,428 people. Flights to Cherepovets (+83.6%), Minsk (+19%) and Riga (+16.5%) also showed the best dynamics in passenger growth for the first six months of 2019.

In charter tourist destinations, the number of travelers increased by 17.1%, the number of flights to Antalya and Monastir increased, a new direction to Dalaman was added. Since the beginning of the year, 37 968 ​​passengers have been transported by charter flights.

The growth trend in passenger traffic continues. According to forecasts, the passenger flow at Khrabrovo airport will amount to 2.35 million people by the end of 2019.
