Khrabrovo started servicing passengers with E-visas

Last weekend, the first passengers with electronic visas passed border control at Kaliningrad (Khrabrovo) checkpoint. Passengers arrived at Khrabrovo Airport flying from Warsaw and Riga.

Starting from July 1, 2019, citizens of 53 countries can visit the Kaliningrad region with electronic visas.

An electronic visa is issued free of charge for a period of 30 days, starting from the date of issue, with a permitted stay in the Russian Federation up to 8 days from the date of entry on the basis of an application from a foreign citizen, filled in electronic form.

Foreign citizens who have received electronic visas have the right to stay and travel only within the Kaliningrad region. Admission to the rest of the Russian Federation for the purpose of transit travel to the region or exit from it, including through airports in direct mode, is not allowed.

In the six months of 2019, Khrabrovo airport serviced more than 1 million people.
