The passenger traffic at Khrabrovo Airport increased by 28% in Q1 2019

In Quarter 1 of 2019, the passenger traffic at Khrabrovo Airport was 435,703 people thereby demonstrating an increase of 28.5% compared to the same period in 2018.

In the first three months of 2019, 412,148 passengers were served on domestic airlines, which is 25.3% higher than in the Q1 of the previous year. The passenger traffic on international routes has more than doubled compared to the last year and was 23,555 people. It was possible to increase the passenger traffic on domestic flights due to opening new destinations (Voronezh, Belgorod, Lipetsk, Volgograd and Nizhny Novgorod) as well as the implementation of additional flights on holidays and at weekends. A significant growth in passenger traffic on the international routes, to the greatest extent, was due to the flights operated by Pobeda Airlines from Kaliningrad to Rome.

In January - March, the Airport provided 2,228 sorties, which is by 22.2% more than the same period last year.

In comparison with Q1 of 2018, the turnover of goods increased by 10.5% and amounted to 1,812.518 tons.

In March 2019, 162,732 people used the services of the Kaliningrad Khrabrovo Airport, which is by 30.3% more than in March 2018. Domestic airlines serviced 154,426 passengers, an increase of 27%. On the international airlines, 8,306 people were transported, which is by two and a half times more than last March.

The processed cargo and mail volume in March 2019 increased by 9.3% and amounted to 675.243 tons. In March, 804 sorties were performed, which is by 17.2% more than in the same period of 2018.
